Universal Orlando Resort will hold its annual Holidays celebration from November 21, 2025, through January 4, 2026. The event will feature holiday-themed experiences across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and select areas in the new Universal Epic Universe park.
The festivities include Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas in Seuss Landing at Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. Guests can also experience special performances by The Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees within the Harry Potter-themed areas. A nighttime projection show called “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” is also scheduled.
Grinchmas activities include a stage show titled “The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” meet-and-greet opportunities with The Grinch, and themed decorations throughout Seuss Landing.
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will showcase large balloons, floats, and appearances by characters such as the Minions from Despicable Me as well as figures from Shrek and Madagascar. Santa Claus will lead the lighting of an 80-foot Christmas tree to conclude each parade.
Holiday décor will be featured in Celestial Park at Universal Epic Universe. Dining locations throughout the resort will offer seasonal menu items, while shops will carry holiday merchandise collections.
Additional experiences are available for purchase. The Universal Holiday Tour includes guided access to holiday events, exclusive character meet-and-greets—including with The Grinch and Santa Claus—reserved seating for shows and parades, cookie decorating sessions, refreshments, and priority access to one attraction. Tickets start at $79.99 per person plus tax; a valid theme park admission is required. Annual and Seasonal Passholders receive a $10 discount per ticket with some restrictions on dates.
Another add-on option is The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous in Islands of Adventure. This breakfast offers themed dishes such as Green Eggs & Ham Quiche and Betty Lou Who Fluffy Ricotta Pancakes alongside encounters with Dr. Seuss characters including The Grinch himself. Pricing is set at $58.99 plus tax per adult and $32.99 plus tax per child ages three to nine.
At Universal CityWalk, venues like Red Coconut Club transform into themed spaces such as the Green and Red Coconut Club with live entertainment and seasonal cocktails under this year’s “Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge” concept. Restaurants across CityWalk offer limited-time food options like seasonal milkshakes from The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium.
All eleven Universal Orlando Resort hotels participate with festive decorations, special menus for holidays including Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve celebrations that feature tree lightings or menorah ceremonies depending on the occasion.
Florida residents can receive up to 40% off hotel rates during their stay over the holidays along with benefits such as early park admission if they have valid tickets for theme parks.
Access to most holiday events is included with regular theme park admission.
“Guests can enjoy beautiful holiday décor throughout the entire destination – including select worlds at Universal Epic Universe – and revel in the holiday spirit as they enjoy exciting experiences at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure,” according to a statement from Universal Orlando Resort.
