South Florida real estate firms announce new hires and board appointments

In recent South Florida real estate hiring news, several firms have announced new leadership appointments and agent additions.

Fontainebleau Development has named Raj Mohan as vice president and managing director for the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura. Mohan previously served as managing director of Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa with Pyramid Global Hospitality. His experience includes resort operations roles at hotels in Aruba, Jamaica, China, and Canada. In his new position, Mohan will be responsible for guest experience and expanding business opportunities.

Linkvest Capital has added three members to its board of directors: Eddy Arriola, Nicolás Santos, and Juan David Perdomo. Linkvest is an alternative investment firm based in Miami and led by principal Camilo Niño. Arriola is CEO of Arriola & Co. and was formerly founder, chairman, and CEO of Apollo Bank before its sale to Seacoast National Bank in 2022. Santos is a founding partner of Ikalon, a multi-family office in Bogotá. Perdomo leads Vision Planning Group, another Bogotá-based multi-family office.

Compass has expanded its South Florida presence by bringing on two teams. Galleria International Realty from Fort Lauderdale joins Compass with 71 agents who will operate out of the Las Olas Boulevard office. The team was founded in 2009 by Patricia Anglero and has completed over $2 billion in total sales.

Additionally, Compass has brought on the Andrade Group led by Jorge Andrade and Henny Barreto. This 29-agent team records $50 million in annual sales and will work from Compass’ Coconut Grove and Winter Park offices, focusing on Miami-Dade, Broward, and Orange counties.

Serhant has hired Veronica Peters for its Delray Beach office. Peters has achieved more than $88 million in career sales after previously working at Premier Estate Properties as a Boca Raton-based agent since 2021.

Weiss Law has appointed Andy Gross as Of Counsel. Gross is a real estate attorney who comes from Gross Simon PLLC where he worked on projects such as W Fort Lauderdale and Infinity at Brickell in Miami.
