A new wildlife attraction called Sloth World is set to open on International Drive in Orlando in February 2026. The facility, described as the world’s first “Slotharium,” will offer visitors a guided experience inside a rainforest-style habitat where more than 40 sloths from multiple species live without cages or glass barriers.
Located at 6582 International Drive, the 7,500-square-foot venue is designed to allow guests to observe sloths as they move and rest naturally among trees and vines. All tours are ticketed, limited in size, and led by animal science professionals known as Sloth World Ambassadors. These guides specialize in sloth behavior and focus on conservation and education during the visits.
The approach at Sloth World emphasizes hands-off interaction with the animals. According to Pete Bandre, Vice President of Sloth World: “We want guests to feel like they’ve stepped into the sloths’ world—not the other way around. There are no cages or barriers—you step right into their environment. It’s peaceful, natural and unlike anything else. We want every visitor to walk out with a deeper understanding of how extraordinary these animals are, why their protection matters, and how simple actions can help support sloth populations around the world.”
Sloth World will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., including holidays. Tickets cost $49, with presales already underway.
The project was created by owner Ben Agresta and inspired by his first sloth, Brucie. A portion of revenue from Sloth World will go toward supporting sloth rescue and habitat protection efforts in countries such as Guyana, Costa Rica, and Peru.
