A cloud computing firm, ServiceNow, is set to open an office at 10 CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach. The building is being developed by Related Ross, a company led by billionaire Steve Ross. ServiceNow specializes in helping businesses automate tasks with artificial intelligence and will operate an innovation hub at the site.

The expansion is supported by over $17 million in grants from state and city sources. This includes $13 million from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, $2 million in additional state grants, and $2 million from the city of West Palm Beach. The city’s grant requires ServiceNow to hire 856 employees within six years; if fewer than 400 jobs are created, the funds may be reclaimed.

While there has been no formal announcement from Related Ross, ServiceNow, or city officials regarding the move, ServiceNow told Bloomberg earlier this year that it is “considering West Palm to support our global growth and future workforce expansion.” Job postings for positions in West Palm have also appeared.

Last year, Steve Ross restructured his business interests by creating Related Ross out of New York-based Related Companies. The new firm focuses on South Florida and holds eight office buildings in downtown West Palm Beach through purchase, development, construction, or planning phases. Executives at Related Ross have expressed their intention to transform downtown West Palm into a technology center.

Construction began in March on two towers—25-story 10 CityPlace and 26-story 15 CityPlace—within the CityPlace mixed-use complex. Both towers are expected to be completed in 2027.

Separately, C.R. Chicks, a local rotisserie chicken restaurant chain founded by Rick Davis and Chris Sallen in 1992, is expanding its presence in Palm Beach County. The restaurant has leased space at The Fountains of Boynton Shopping Plaza at 6627 Boynton Beach Boulevard and now operates eight locations within the county. Additionally, C.R. Chicks plans to expand to Stuart with a new lease for space at Wedgewood Commons plaza on Southeast Federal Highway.
