A mansion in the Seminole Landing community of North Palm Beach was the top luxury property to go under contract in Palm Beach County last week. According to a report from Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team, buyers signed 11 contracts for luxury properties between October 13 and October 19. The total asking price for these homes reached $67.4 million, with an average of 119 days on the market.

This marked an increase from the previous week, when 10 contracts were signed totaling $47.6 million in asking dollar volume.

The report tracks single-family homes and condos listed at $3 million or more in the Beaches MLS. It recorded 58 new listings during the week, bringing active listings to a total of 1,078.

All pending sales last week involved single-family homes. The average asking price was $6.1 million, or about $1,151 per square foot.

The highest-priced property to find a buyer was located at 1162 Banyan Estates Drive—a mansion spanning 9,200 square feet with an asking price of $15.9 million. Records indicate that Monica and David J. Hill are the sellers; they purchased the 1.1-acre lot for $1.9 million in 2017 and completed construction on the home in 2020. The residence includes five bedrooms, five bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, as well as amenities such as a pool, spa, putting green, half-basketball court and pickleball court.

Initially listed for $19.2 million last year, the price was reduced four times according to Zillow data. Elliot Koolik and Richard Entel with Compass represent the listing.

The second most expensive contract was for a home at 10960 Monte Rosa Drive in Palm Beach Gardens with an asking price of $7.3 million. This property will be among the first closings in Panther National—a gated golf community developed by Dominik Senn’s Centaur Holdings—which is planned for 218 single-family homes and has surpassed $330 million in presales since its launch in 2023. Designed by Max Strang, this house covers approximately 6,200 square feet with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a pool.

Jonas Mikals with Living by IMI holds this listing; it also entered the market last year at its current asking price.
