SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream event has been recognized as one of the top Halloween attractions in the United States. The event was ranked among the Top 5 Best Theme Park Halloween Events nationally by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards and was named the number one Halloween event in Florida.

This year, Howl-O-Scream introduces a new character called Havoc, who becomes the main figure of the event. According to organizers, “Once bound by the Sirens, he now rides free as the face of fear at Howl-O-Scream. With fire, fury and no mercy, Havoc leads guests into a night where chaos is worshipped and fear fuels the experience. His reign comes to life in the brand-new stunt show Throttle, featuring motorcycles, fire effects and bone-rattling action.”

To mark its national recognition, SeaWorld Orlando is offering discounted tickets through its Slash Sale promotion, with prices starting at $45.99 on select nights.

The event features five haunted houses—three of which are new this year—six themed scare zones throughout the park, four thrill rides open during nighttime hours including some of Orlando’s tallest roller coasters, two roaming groups of scare actors appearing unexpectedly, five themed bars with specialty cocktails such as the Solar Flare Margarita, and limited-time food offerings like Spooky Teriyaki Chicken. Live entertainment includes Throttle, a stunt show centered around Havoc.

Howl-O-Scream runs on select nights until November 1 from 7 p.m. to midnight at SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld operates as both a marine life theme park and an accredited zoo and aquarium. It offers educational programs alongside animal encounters and entertainment experiences. The organization also supports marine conservation efforts worldwide through research funding and rescue operations for marine animals.
