Billionaire Winifred Johnson-Marquart, an heiress to the SC Johnson fortune, has sold her Palm Beach property for $16.7 million. The sale comes two months after she and her husband, musician and producer Mike Marquart, purchased a landmarked home on the island for $30 million.

The buyers of the 449 Australian Avenue house are Victor and Julia Tolkan, according to a report by the Palm Beach Daily News. Shelly Newman of the Corcoran Group represented the sellers, while Dana Landry of Dana Edward Landry worked with the buyers.

Johnson-Marquart is the daughter of Samuel Curtis Johnson Jr., who led SC Johnson’s expansion into products such as Glade air fresheners, Off! insect repellent, and Pledge furniture polish. These products contributed to SC Johnson’s growth into a major cleaning products company.

In October, Johnson-Marquart and her husband acquired Villa Banyan, a 7,500-square-foot historic residence on Palm Beach for $30 million. They had purchased their Australian Avenue home last year for $15.9 million. Built in 2017 on a 0.2-acre lot, the house features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and one half-bathroom across 3,600 square feet.

The property was listed for $17 million in September on Zillow.

This transaction is part of a busy real estate season in Palm Beach. Earlier this month, coffee industry figure Bob Stiller secured a buyer for his lakefront estate listed at $84 million. Private equity billionaire Greg Mondre also has a pending sale for his teardown property priced at $39.5 million; earlier this year he bought an oceanfront lot for $58 million.

Elsewhere in North Palm Beach’s Lost Tree Village community, fintech billionaire Ronald Clarke purchased a waterfront compound from William Wrigley Jr., heir to the Wrigley chewing gum business, for $97.5 million.
