Panama City, Florida is introducing new attractions and experiences in 2025 aimed at both residents and visitors. The city, situated along St. Andrews Bay, continues to expand its downtown area with a variety of new businesses and activities.

A notable addition to the downtown food scene is Yard Bar Smoked Meats, which features Texas-style barbecue in an outdoor setting. The venue also hosts weekly family-friendly line dancing events. Revival House General Store has also opened nearby, offering fresh produce, locally sourced snacks, wine, coffee, and cold brews on tap. The store serves as a gathering place for the community.

For those interested in water activities, Kingdom Splash Fest began operating in summer 2025 as a year-round inflatable waterpark and ninja course next to the Destination Panama City Visitors Center. Go Boat Rentals offers circular inflatable boats for cruising St. Andrews Bay, while Bayside Rentals now provides pedal-powered Hydro Bikes for exploring local waterways.

Panama City is also expanding its historic walking tours through digital platforms. After launching the Glenwood Historical Marker Trail on the Otocast app, two more self-guided tours—the Downtown Historic Tour and the St. Andrews Historic Tour—are planned to showcase the city’s neighborhoods through curated routes featuring history, culture, and public art.

According to the release: “From smoked meats and splash zones to paddle bikes and historic strolls, Panama City continues to offer new ways to experience the Florida Gulf Coast, rooted in local flavor, authentic charm, and year-round fun.”
