District 77 members in Minnesota have participated in Unity One Credit Union’s annual Toys for Tots drive, aiming to assist families during the holiday season. Locals 737 and 459 supported the initiative by approving funding motions that contributed a substantial portion of this year’s donations. The collective effort resulted in more than $1,600 worth of toys being collected and delivered to local families.

Members were actively involved by shopping for toys and delivering them, ensuring children across the community would benefit from the drive.

“IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli stated, “District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays. Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.”

IAM Local 737 President Eric Jorgensen added, “Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year. Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.”

The tradition of giving back continues as District 77 maintains its commitment to supporting local families during the holidays.
