Marc Ashley, president of Market America Worldwide and Shop.com, has purchased a condo at the Bath Club Residences in Miami Beach for $14.3 million. Property records show that the sellers were Scott and Laura Gilbert, who bought the 6,300-square-foot unit in 2011 for $5.7 million.

The Ashleys’ new condo is located at 5959 Collins Avenue and features four bedrooms. The property was listed with Bespoke Real Estate and was last asking nearly $16 million. The Bath Club Residences, which include 107 condos and six oceanfront villas, were redeveloped by the Peebles Corporation between 2005 and 2006. The original beach club on the site dates back to 1926.

Jordan Karp represented Marc and Maria Ashley in their purchase of the Bath Club unit and is also handling the listing of their previous residence in Edgewater. Last month, according to the New York Post, the Ashleys put their full-floor condo at Elysee Miami on the market for $5.5 million. Their Edgewater unit has four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, spans 3,300 square feet, and is priced at about $1,700 per square foot. They acquired it in 2021 for $2.7 million while it was still under construction by Two Roads Development.

The Elysee Miami building includes interiors designed by Jean-Louis Deniot, known for projects such as Waldorf Astoria Residences in New York. The Ashleys’ unit features a private elevator entryway, ceilings reaching ten feet high, as well as two terraces overlooking Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach.

Market America was established in 1992 as an e-commerce and product brokerage company. Its founder James Ridinger purchased a penthouse at One Thousand Museum tower in Miami with his wife Loren Ridinger in 2021 before his death at age 63 the following year.
