Marcus & Millichap appoints Max Beyderman as senior managing director in Fort Lauderdale

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has appointed Max Beyderman as senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office. Beyderman will be responsible for commercial debt and equity financing across various asset classes. According to his LinkedIn profile, Beyderman spent the past year working independently as a commercial finance specialist and previously served as managing director at Meridian Capital Group from 2006 to 2024.

In other hiring news, Thomas Burkett has joined Origin Construction, based in Miami, as chief financial officer. Burkett was previously the CFO at Butters Group for five months and held the role of senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development for nearly four years.

Brown Harris Stevens has expanded its team in Miami-Dade County by adding several agents. Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini have joined the Miami Beach office. Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales are now part of the South Miami office. In May, David Deza became managing director of Brown Harris Stevens’ Miami office and has since been leading recruitment efforts.
