The LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University has issued a statement following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The statement highlights the importance of free and peaceful debate in American society.
“The ability to freely and peacefully debate ideas, values, and principles is at the core of our American Republic. The center was established with the goal of fostering civil discussion on significant public issues. In its statement, it expressed condolences and reaffirmed its commitment.
“The LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University was founded to encourage civil debate on issues of great public importance. We mourn Charlie Kirk’s death, we pray for him and his family, and we rededicate our mission to promoting peaceful discourse.”
