The managing partner of Royal Palm Properties, a leading brokerage in Boca Raton, has joined Douglas Elliman’s Exclusive Group. Kelly Brooks will now serve as a partner with the team led by Nick Malinosky and Devin Kay, according to a news release.

Brooks has been licensed as an agent since 2006. State records confirm that her license was transferred to Douglas Elliman on January 9.

At Royal Palm Properties, Brooks worked for 15 years alongside David Roberts, who is recognized as the top real estate agent in Palm Beach County based on The Real Deal’s 2025 ranking of agents by on-market sales. During her tenure, she focused on properties within the Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club community. This neighborhood is considered Boca Raton’s most expensive and features fewer than 700 homes spread over 450 acres, including a private club with a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and marina.

Royal Palm Properties completed more than 420 sales totaling over $3.3 billion between 2021 and 2025. In response to Brooks’ departure, Roberts stated: “Brooks’ contributions were instrumental to our success, and I have no doubt she will continue to thrive at the highest levels of the industry.”

Brooks will concentrate on markets such as Delray Beach and Boca Raton in her new role.

Malinosky and Kay established the Exclusive Group in 2023 along with Gary Pohrer, who left Elliman last year but continues to collaborate with them on transactions. In addition, Michael Merrill joined the group last year to help expand into Vero Beach’s luxury market.

The move is part of The Exclusive Group’s strategy to grow its roster of advisors across key luxury markets in South Florida.
