At the 2025 Hospitality Stars of the Industry Gala, the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) recognized Jordan Beckner as Supplier of the Year. Beckner is the Founding Partner and President of Sales for FiberBuilt Umbrellas & Cushions. The award ceremony took place at Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, Florida, where Beckner was also inducted into the FRLA Hall of Fame.

The annual gala highlights restaurant and lodging operators as well as suppliers across Florida for their contributions to hospitality. The Hall of Fame honor is given to leaders whose long-term service has had a significant impact on the state’s hospitality sector.

Beckner co-founded FiberBuilt Umbrellas in 2000 with Paul Knapp. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwood University as well as an MBA from South University in Savannah. Over his career he has served on several boards related to hospitality education including those associated with FRLA as well as national organizations like AHLA.
FRLA represents more than 10,000 members across independent hotels/restaurants along with major franchises throughout Florida. Its mission includes advocacy for its members’ interests within a nearly $112 billion state hospitality industry employing two million people.
