As the year comes to a close, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) International President Brian Bryant extended holiday wishes to IAM members and their families. In his message, Bryant acknowledged the contributions of union members across various industries.
Bryant stated, “As we close out another year, I want to wish every IAM Union member and their families a joyful, safe, and meaningful holiday season. This is a special time – a moment to pause, to reflect, and to appreciate the people who make a difference in our lives.”
He highlighted the essential role played by IAM members in sectors such as airports, railroads, shops, facilities, and other worksites that are crucial for daily life. “IAM Union members make the holidays happen – and your union couldn’t be prouder of the work you do,” he said.
Bryant also emphasized that union membership goes beyond labor contracts and negotiations. “The holidays also remind us that our union is more than contracts and negotiations – it’s a family. It’s the way we show up for one another, lift each other, and make sure no member stands alone. That spirit of solidarity is what makes the IAM Union strong, and it’s what gives me hope for the year ahead.”
He concluded with appreciation for members’ efforts: “Thank you for everything you do, not just for our union, but for your communities and for working people everywhere. We are grateful for each and every one of you.”
Bryant encouraged members to watch the organization’s holiday video message.
“On behalf of the entire IAM Executive Council, I wish you and your loved ones a season filled with peace, warmth, and gratitude – and a New Year full of hope and opportunity,” Bryant said.
