The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) Retirees & Membership Services Department held a week-long class at the William Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Maryland. The training was aimed at helping members establish retiree clubs within their districts and local areas.

The initiative is designed to increase activism among retirees, provide them with additional resources, and encourage mentorship for younger union members. Those interested in starting an IAM retiree club can find more information on the organization’s official website at https://www.goiam.org/departments/general-secretary-treasurer/membership-services/.
