Breast cancer survivors and their families came together at Good Samaritan Medical Center for the Pink Palms Paint and Create event, which highlighted both artwork and personal stories. The gathering was part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities designed to offer support and foster community among those affected by the disease.

The event provided a platform for survivors to share experiences through creative expression. Organizers emphasized the importance of connection during recovery.

Colleen Campbell, who manages the Good Samaritan Breast Program, has been personally impacted by breast cancer. She explained, “To me it’s all about community,” Campbell said. “It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month we want to let the community know that we are here and we are open and we are running a phenomenal program.”

The Pink Palms Paint and Create event is one of several initiatives intended to build awareness about breast cancer and support those facing it in Palm Beach County.
