Nominations are now open for the 5th Annual Bob Provitola Manufacturing Leadership Award, which recognizes volunteer leaders who have made significant contributions to Florida’s manufacturing sector. The award was established in honor of Bob Provitola, former Division Vice President of Mitsubishi Power Americas and founding board chair of the FloridaMakes Network.

“This award was created in memory of Bob Provitola, Division Vice President of Mitsubishi Power Americas and founding board chair of the FloridaMakes Network. Bob dedicated his career to advancing education, workforce development, and economic growth in Florida, all with the goal of building a stronger manufacturing economy and creating high-wage, high-skill jobs.”

Each year, individuals are recognized for their advocacy, leadership, mentorship, and volunteerism within the industry. According to FloridaMakes, eligibility is not restricted by executive status; volunteer service can be recognized regardless of serving as a “loaned executive.”

Nominations are submitted online and reviewed by a committee composed of manufacturers and stakeholders. All nominees are evaluated based on their contributions to manufacturing in Florida. The deadline for nominations is October 8, 2025.

Additional information about the nomination process and form can be found at www.FloridaMakes.com/Bob-Provitola-Award.
