Florida Coast Medical Center set to open in Treasure Coast after decade

The Treasure Coast is preparing to open its first new hospital in over ten years. Florida Coast Medical Center, a $200 million facility, will begin operations on Tuesday, September 9th. The hospital is located near Florida’s Turnpike and Becker Road, an area noted for its rapid population growth.

A walking tour led by CEO Tyler Sherrill highlighted the hospital’s patient rooms, operating rooms, and some of the new technology that will be available to patients. The official opening is scheduled for September 9th at 9 a.m.
