Florida Coast Medical Center has announced that it has treated more than 1,000 patients since opening on September 9, 2025. The hospital is the first new facility of its kind in the Treasure Coast region in over ten years.
The center offers a range of services including emergency care, surgery, and specialty care. According to Tyler Sherrill, CEO of Florida Coast Medical Center, “This milestone is a testament to earning the community’s trust, something we don’t take for granted and strive to continue to earn every single day.” He added, “We are proud to help care for the people of Port St. Lucie, Martin County, and the Treasure Coast, so they don’t have to travel far for dependable, high-quality care.”
The hospital features 54 inpatient beds and a 26-bed emergency department within its 180,000-square-foot campus. The site also includes a medical office building that houses physician practices aimed at keeping healthcare local.
Plans are underway for continued growth as the hospital seeks to expand access to advanced medical services in the area.
Florida Coast Medical Center opened with an investment of $200 million and provides specialized services such as neurosciences, orthopedics, spine care, robotics-assisted procedures, general surgery, urology, and advanced cardiac care. Outpatient surgical services and imaging are also available on-site.
This facility is now the sixth standalone hospital operated by Palm Beach Health Network.
