Florida Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mark Wilson appeared on News4Jax to discuss Florida’s ongoing economic growth, the resurgence of manufacturing in the state, and Florida’s increasing attractiveness for business relocations and startups.
Wilson explained that the Future of Florida Forum (F3) brings together leaders from various sectors to focus on a shared goal: “making Florida the tenth-largest economy in the world by 2030.” He emphasized the importance of collaboration among business, political, non-profit, and community stakeholders to secure Florida’s economic future.
The Future of Florida Forum is scheduled for October 27-28 in Orlando. The event aims to unite participants across different fields to discuss strategies for strengthening Florida’s business environment.
The interview also covered initiatives such as the “Coolest Thing Made in Florida” competition, which highlights innovative products manufactured within the state.
