Film Florida has scheduled its next quarterly meeting for December 11 and 12, 2025, in Orlando. The meetings will be held at Eola View, located at 150 E. Central Blvd. The event will include sessions for Film Florida Committees and Councils as well as a Board of Directors meeting. For those unable to attend in person, Zoom participation will be available.

Attendees are being asked to bring an unwrapped toy or gift if they attend the event in person. These donations will go to a local Central Florida organization during the holiday season. In addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle during the meetings. Tickets cost $5 each or five for $20 and can be purchased by cash, credit card, or digitally. Both in-person and virtual attendees can participate in the raffle. “The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the Board of Directors Meeting. The winner does not need to be present at the drawing. The raffle winner will receive 50% of the money collected, the other 50% will go to the Film Florida grant and scholarship fund.”

The tentative schedule begins on Thursday with committee and council meetings from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by an evening activity hosted by Women in Film & Television Florida from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., also at Eola View.

On Friday, events start with a continental breakfast at 9:00 a.m., open only to Film Florida members, followed by a Board of Directors meeting from 9:30 a.m. to noon that is open to the public.

Hotel accommodations are available at Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown for $199 per night plus taxes. Amenities include parking for $24 per day per car, access to a pool and fitness center, complimentary evening receptions for guests, and daily cooked-to-order breakfasts.

Individuals interested in participating virtually should email info@filmflorida.org for call-in information regarding both committee/council meetings and the board meeting.

Those who are not currently members but wish to join member-only sessions are encouraged to become members through Film Florida’s website.

“We hope you will participate, either in person or virtually, we plan on having a very productive few days. Thank you for your continued support and engagement!”
