Eastdil Secured has appointed Nick Lavin as director of its National Housing Group, where he will lead the firm’s Florida multifamily practice. According to a press release, Lavin will also contribute to Eastdil’s work across the Sun Belt region. He joins Eastdil from JLL, where he served for over six years and most recently held the position of senior director with the Capital Markets team. Lavin will be based in Miami.

JLL has named Angela Kyle as senior vice president for its South Florida tenant representation team. The press release states that Kyle previously led sustainability client partnerships for JLL in New Orleans and has been with the company since 2022. In her new role, she will advise public institutions and health care organizations.

Maile Aguila has joined The Agency’s Miami office after more than three decades at Swire Properties, where she was a senior vice president of residential sales and managed sales for several Brickell condominium projects. With The Agency, Aguila will lead sales for HQ Residences Miami, a newly launched 35-story condo tower planned by Sam Nazarian and Marc Anthony in Edgewater.

The Agency is also expanding with a new office in the Florida Keys, led by Lisa and Tim Swanson. This Key West location becomes The Agency’s seventh office in Florida, adding to locations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, Palm Beach, Orlando, and Miramar Beach.

Additionally, agent Rachael Brook has moved to Douglas Elliman’s Miami Beach office after seven years with S. Pearlman & Associates in Los Angeles. Brook works across markets in Florida, California, and New York; her focus in Miami Beach will be on new development projects as well as luxury relocation and investment sales.
