The U.S. Census Bureau has updated its OnTheMap tool and the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES) with new data. The update includes employment data for 2023, as well as backfilled data for Mississippi covering the years 2019 to 2022. Additionally, the geography used in the application has been updated to reflect the 2024 TIGER/Line vintage.

OnTheMap is an online mapping application that displays information about where people live and work. The tool was developed through a partnership between the Census Bureau and its Local Employment Dynamics partner states.

According to the Census Bureau, “No news release is associated with this product. Tip sheet only.”
