Amelia Island will host its annual Restaurant Week from January 16 to 25, featuring 24 locally owned restaurants. The event, organized by the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), aims to promote small, independent businesses and highlight the unique dishes and personalities that define the island’s dining scene.

“Every year, Restaurant Week gives us another chance to lift up the chefs, owners, and family-run establishments that are the heart of Amelia Island,” said Gil Langley, President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB. “These restaurants aren’t just places to eat; they’re cornerstones of our community’s identity. Supporting them strengthens Amelia Island as a whole, and we’re proud to champion the small businesses that drive our culinary reputation.”

This year’s program puts special emphasis on each restaurant’s signature dish or specialty, referred to as its “claim to fame.” Diners can expect a range of offerings from Mediterranean cuisine to coastal seafood and chef-inspired plates.

The CVB is collaborating with participating restaurants to encourage reservations and increase customer visits during a typically slower period for tourism. The effort is part of the bureau’s ongoing support for local small businesses.

Restaurant Week will also feature immersive culinary events led by local chefs. The opening dinner on January 15 at Nonna Mia at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa will offer Italian family-style dining with seasonal ingredients. The closing dinner on January 25 at Salt at The Ritz-Carlton will present dishes from four chefs de cuisine in a tasting event.

Amelia Island is located in Northeast Florida and is known for its beaches, wildlife, historic sites, resorts, golf courses, bed and breakfasts, and downtown Fernandina Beach district.
